15 people have been treated for respiratory problems this week, including 10 today, said Jersey City Medical Center spokesman Mark Rabson. 2 people have also been treated for heat stroke today, said Rabson.
The medical center is urging people to be cautious during the heat wave. People must drink plenty of water, stay indoors, and wear loose fitting and light colored clothes.
The medical center also has extra ambulance crews around the city ready for calls
