The Keansburg man plunged 40 feet onto the shoulder of Route 35 south about 6:30 p.m.The man, whom police declined to identify, sustained numerous broken bones but was not struck by any cars.The man was bandaged and splinted by RWJUH Paramedics and EMT's then taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick where he was listed in stable condition.
